Mid-Size or Economy, the Difference Is in the Boot Space and Group Size
An economy car has around 250 litres of boot space, enough for 2 people with 3 medium suitcases if you're travelling light. The mid-size range goes up from 380 litres to 400 or more depending on the model, the jump that lets you fit 2 cabin bags and 2 hold suitcases in without stacking them on the back seat. If there are 4 adults with real luggage, you'll notice the difference here. If you're staying in Puerto Banús or San Pedro de Alcántara and plan to load up beach bags or shopping from more than one stop, that extra boot space really shows.
